हिंसक विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद सरकार ने पीएफ निकासी पर पाबंदी वापस ली - 10 खास बातें

1. पीएफ निकासी से जुड़े सरकार के फैसले के खिलाफ लोगों में खासा गुस्सा था और इसके खिलाफ ऑनलाइन अभियान भी चलाया गया था। इसे पहले 10 फरवरी से लागू किया जाना था, लेकिन विरोध को देखते हुए पहले इसे 30 अप्रैल तक टाल दिया गया और फिर अब इसे रद्द ही कर दिया गया है।
2. पीएफ निकासी के संशोधित नियमों के अनुसार, सरकार ने नियोक्ता की ओर से पीएफ में कुल योगदान को निकालने पर रोक लगा दी थी, हालांकि अब ये पैसा रिटायरमेंट से पहले भी निकाला जा सकेगा।

4. संशोधित नियम को वापस लिए जाने के कारणों के बारे में बताते हुए दत्तात्रेय ने कहा, 'इसका कारण ट्रेड यूनियनों का अनुरोध है। भविष्य निधि से निकासी नियमों को कड़ा करने का फैसला भी ट्रेड यूनियनों की राय से लिया गया था। अब जब ट्रेड यूनियन अनुरोध कर रहे हैं, तब हमने निर्णय को वापस ले लिया।'
5. दत्तात्रेय ने कहा कि कर्मचारियों तथा श्रमिकों को अधिसूचना रद्द होने के मद्देनजर कोई गलत धारणा रखने की जरूरत नहीं है।
6. मामले को ठंडा करने के इरादे से श्रम मंत्रालय ने यह भी कहा कि वह कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (ईपीएफओ) के पास जमा पूरी राशि को मकान खरीदने, गंभीर बीमारी, शादी तथा बच्चों की पेशेवर शिक्षा जैसे कार्यों के लिए अंशधारकों को निकालने की अनुमति देने पर विचार कर रहा है। मामले को मंजूरी के लिए कानून मंत्रालय के पास भेजा गया है।
7. दत्तात्रेय ने कहा कि केंद्रीय न्यासी बोर्ड की बैठक बुलायी जाएगी, ताकि इस बात पर विचार किया जा सके कि ईपीएफ में नियोक्ताओं के योगदान (मूल वेतन का 3.67 प्रतिशत) का कर्मचारियों के लिए कैसे बेहतर तरीके से उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
