जर्नलिस्ट का नाम क्यों आ रहा है?

- मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड डील के एक बिचौलिया क्रिश्चियन मिशेल ने 2010 से 2012 के बीच इंडियन मीडिया को मैनेज किया था और इसके लिए करोड़ों रुपए दिए गये थे।

- अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड की पैरेंट कंपनी फिनमेक्कानिका ने 2013 में इंडियन जर्नलिस्ट के एक ग्रुप को इनवाइट किया था। इस ट्रिप को मिशेल ने ही अरेंज किया था।

- सूत्रों के मुताबिक, सीबीआई और ईडी इस ट्रिप में जाने वाले जर्नलिस्टस से पूछताछ की प्लानिंग कर रहा है।

क्या अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड हेलिकॉप्टर डील मामला ?

- यूपीए-1 सरकार के वक्त 2010 में इटली की कंपनी अगस्ता वेस्टलैंड से वीवीआईपी के लिए 12 हेलिकॉप्टरों की खरीद की डील हुई थी।

- डील के तहत मिले 3 हेलिकॉप्टर आज भी दिल्ली के पालम एयरबेस पर खड़े हैं। इन्हें इस्तेमाल में नहीं लाया गया।
- डील 3,600 करोड़ रुपए की थी। टाेटल डील का 10% हिस्सा रिश्वत में देने की बात सामने आई थी। इसके बाद यूपीए सरकार ने फरवरी 2010 में डील रद्द कर दी थी।
- तब एयरफोर्स चीफ रहे एसपी त्यागी समेत 13 लोगों पर केस दर्ज किया गया था।
- जिस मीटिंग में हेलिकाॅप्टर की कीमत तय की गई थी, उसमें यूपीए सरकार के कुछ मंत्री भी मौजूद थे। इस वजह से कांग्रेस पर भी सवाल उठे थे।

क्या है राफेल डील

- भारत की फ्रांस के साथ 2012 से इस डील पर बात चल रही है। मनमोहन सरकार ने 2012 में 1.35 लाख करोड़ रु. में 126 राफेल खरीदने की पहल की। पर बात अटक गई।
- इसके बाद मोदी सरकार ने पिछले साल अप्रैल में फ्रांस दौरे में 36 राफेल खरीदने का एलान किया। डील की लागत 59 हजार करोड़ रु. होने की बात हुई।
- राफेल पर एमओयू साइन हो चुका है। लेकिन रेट की वजह से यह डील फाइनल नहीं हो पाई। 
- फ्रांस जिस रेट में राफेल बेचना चाहता है, भारत उससे 20% कम कीमत में उसे खरीदना चाहता है।
- ये तय हो गया कि हम 36 रफेल प्लेन जरूर खरीदेंगे। लागत 59 हजार करोड़ रु. आएगी।
